Notes

Closer looks at one slice of the index: the tools inside a single price band, what they charge, and what each of them reports. Every number is computed from the same records as the tool pages, and every page says what it does not claim.

Same $40 a month, 189× apart

16 tools charge between $26 and $49 a month and publish what they earn. Their reported MRR runs from $679 to $128,005. Three of them hold 79% of the band's money.

The middle band is where the number starts to mean something

12 tools charge $50–99 a month and publish both a price and a figure. Median MRR is $4,625 at a median entry of $88, and the spread narrows to 45× from 189× one band down.

The $100 band is where the data runs out

7 tools charge $100–199 a month and publish both a price and a figure. Entry runs $100 → $199; reported MRR runs $1,077 → $53,306, against a median of $2,702 one band down — 3.7× the revenue for a 3.7× higher price.

Every price change we can verify, and the revenue either side

4 raised, 2 cut — each change in the index with a monthly revenue figure on both sides of the date. Median raise +74%, median revenue change after it +86%. Median cut -35%, median revenue change +36%.

Notes are rebuilt whenever the underlying data changes, so the numbers on them are as fresh as the index itself. The date on each table is the date the founder published the figure.
