Published revenue, product not named
4 rows. Every one is a founder saying, in their own words, what they earn; each links to the post. None of them names a product we could verify, so the product column does not exist — attaching a guess would be wrong in a way the person concerned would notice immediately.
| Who | Reported | Posted | Why this row is here |
|---|---|---|---|
| @surendra_pandar | $30,000 | 2026-10-25 | Author states "a $30k MRR" for their open-sourced product, implying their own current monthly revenue. |
| @harsh_apps | $20,000 | 2026-10-25 | They state "just crossed $20k MRR from my mobile apps", indicating their own current monthly recurring revenue. |
| @indiebeaverhere | $7,000 | 2026-10-22 | "Finally crossed $7k MRR" states their current monthly recurring revenue. |
| @launch_llama | $4,000 | 2026-10-26 | States "coding a $4k MRR startup" in present context. |
How a row gets in
Three things have to hold, and all three are checked by hand before a row is published:
- It is their own number. First person, in this post. Not “someone built a $50k app”, not “I want $10k”, not “we might hit $20k”. Quotes and comparisons stay out.
- The figure is stated, not derived. “Six figures a month” is not $38,000. If the post does not write the number, we do not write it either.
- The account is a person who ships. Trackers, hiring posts and newsletters get filtered before a human ever looks at the queue.
Everything that fails those checks is kept — not deleted — in an internal table, with the reason. That table is what we re-check when the rules change; it is also where the examples below come from.
Rows that pass the rules but read ambiguously are not published and not thrown away either: they sit in a review queue with a 30-day clock. If nothing corroborates them in that window they expire and never appear; there is no “pending” badge on this page, because a badge that never expires is just a disclaimer. Bordering rows are also read by a language model with a fixed prompt and a fixed model, and its full answer — including the words it based the call on — is kept with the row.
What we got wrong, and what happens when we do
Earlier drafts of this list included a post where the number came from someone else’s app, one where the figure was our own arithmetic, and one where the author said $19k and we recorded $20k. All three are out. If you see a row that is wrong:
- Write to hello@mrrbench.com with the post link and what is wrong.
- We answer within 48 hours, on weekdays.
- Corrections are applied to the page and logged in the corrections log, including the ones that make us look bad. A correction that disappears quietly is not a correction.
Why the list is short: for every post that states a figure in the person’s own words, several dozen state a goal, a debt, someone else’s result, or nothing at all. We publish the first group only. The same posts feed the tool database when a product name is present.
